In the United States, 77 million baby boomers will retire over the next 10 years. Seniors (age 65 and older) number 35 million and will continue to increase, leading a shift in population distribution, by age never before seen. This demographic shift requires an educated response in how professionals work with the challenges and opportunities that retirees and those approaching retirement will face.
Sam resides in Maumee, Ohio with his wife Kathie, who is both a registered securities representative and an Emergency Service Registered Nurse. They have four grown children, ranging from 28 to 35 with six grandchildren.
